What it will include:

St. Francis Prayer Center will be located on approximately 140 acres of former farmland near Stoneville, NC, now mostly wooded.

The first phase of the project will be the completion of the main "Prayer Center Building." This will offer facilities for persons and groups who seek a contemplative atmosphere for prayer and personal reflection and also for people desiring education in justice and peace.

a deepening of one's relationship with God

challenges individuals and groups
to integrate gospel values
into their daily life,
thus promoting right relationship
with all people and creation.
  • To provide a quiet place to come for a day, an overnight, a week...alone or with a group...to grow in one's relationship with God.
  • To provide opportunities to learn more about the social teachings of the gospel and how they can be applied to one's everyday life.
